what do you like and dislike most about winter?

It gets cold and my bones ache. It also gets hazardous out there on our roads. The slushy snow shoveling, the slipping on pavement and the ice that clings to the roofs, it concerns me that some small child or even an adult may be walking by and get hit with them. The cost of heating fuels, whatever kind of fuel they may be rises in the colder weather here in our state. Children get wind burn and ill. The nice thing about winter here is the beautiful ice that lines the tree branches, they twinkle in the sun light and look like thousands of diamonds on the branches, and when looking at the entire scene of the winter around you, it looks like a fairy winter land. The hot cocoa and caroling, the music and the snow men and ice figures. The warm, snugly feeling you get after going out side and breathing in all that air that got cleaned by the fresh snow fall that morning. Gb and Gl

I dislike all the muddy drive ways, getting stuck and running out of gas, I love that it clens the earth and all the germs in the ground will die so we can grow healthy food for each other , I have asthma and bronchitis chronic, and I think that I breath better in the winter time after the Hottttttt summer this year oh yeah winter soundsa like heaven, I also love all the hoildays and finding someone to snuggle with.

I dislike winter intensely because its cold, wet and miserable.It makes me want to stay inside all the time. There is nothing good about winter look at the floods that cause misery. I like the summer to be free and walk in the sun and look at all the lovely things growing around me and watching the birds and animals...to feel a very faint breeze on my face.....that to me is what I really and truly like...not the cold miserable winter that makes people's faces look pinched and pale.

It gets so freakin cold here in Alaska that is a disadvantage. What I love is all the holidays that fall during winter ;)

Hate the cold, icy streets and sidewalks, shoveling snow and getting it in my shoes, and the dark, grey skies. Love Christmas and the cozy feeling of bundling up outside or sitting by a fire when it's cold outside. Love hot cider and eggnog, and especially like seeing my family and giving them gifts.

I like to light the candles. and the log fire, and watch a feel good film with a glass of wine and a box of Cadburys Milk Tray. I hate having to walk the dog in driving frozen rain, which stings your face, and makes your eyes run.

I hate how the over cast skies make me feel so depressed...but I do enjoy the cold fresh air in the mornings....its so crisp I could almost take a bite out of it if you know what I mean

I like coffee and hunter beef which tastes better in winter than in summer.
I have to wear extra clothes to keep myself warm. I hate it

i like the christmas holiday, the carols, snowman, cold weather, ski board, new year's eve
... and what i dislike most about winter, it doesnt come in such equatorial country! it sucks!
