Philly had to go for it on 4th down in Q1 on the 15, knowing they can't settle for a field goal against the Pats
They were only forced to punt once (other than the last second formality)
They didn't even open the running game until well into the 3rd quarter
Their big weakness was the refs again.

Yep, 16-0 with some speed bumps, but still an enjoyable ride. Just wait until the weather turns bad in January!!! Then no one will come close!!

No, the Colts can't beat us. They won't get that far, anyway. 13-10 against the Chiefs at home on a last second field goal? They're BAD.

Matter of Time? I suppose, maybe 1 or 2 years. Not before, though.

Of course they may be 'stoppable' - they always have been, like ANY sports team, however good!

But only by another REALLY GOOD team who have the tactical intelligence to work out a solution to the problem - AND to then execute that plan to PERFECTION.

Philly came SOOOO close - Reid may not be a genius - I don't know - but he and his Defensive Co-ordinator certainly got their part of the deal - the tactical plan - absolutely right - but, who called the fatal, and out of their previous pattern, long corner pass at the end!? - QB or Coach?

Had it not been for the fact that Moss had a perfectly good TD disallowed for a non - existent PI foul at a critical moment, I'd say Philly 'won' overall - a great performance!

What amazes me is that no one else had worked out earlier how to run NE close - but then, even if you CAN work it out, you've got to be good enough to pull it off! Although their DEFENCE played excellently, the Colts didn't really do as well in their attempt as Philly - So -

Pittsburgh? - I think not but that, too, might be close! No one else has the talent to do it - only the Pats can beat themselves against the others, I reckon - they may, understandably, ease up - and off days do happen!

So, the Pats ARE a super team and POSSIBLY unstoppable, at least in the Regular Season!?

lol, fun to read some of these answers!

"Oh yeah, well if the Patriots didn't get those three picks, they would be 10-1 right now"...

Oh man, too funny.

And oh yeah, Brett Favre, THE most overrated QB in NFL history, will carve up the Patriots, lol... the Patriots can only hope they get that matchup... they've already knocked off all the other unbeaten and one-loss teams...

I hope, for the sake of Packers fans, that Green Bay does play New England in the Super Bowl... that way, Packer fans can see how a truly great QB does it... those poor fans have suffered enough having to watch Favre every week for the past 30 years...or at least, what SEEMS like 30 years...

This is going to sound stupid maybe even ignorant. However I do think this game today was purposely played to there wouldn't be a huge point spread.

Did you see some of the Pat's players throw themselves down when they could have taken extra yardage.

Either they played the worst game of this season so far, or it was done on purpose.

Did you notice at the end of the game??? I think that's the first time this season The "coach" shook hands with someone and was smiling away. The he proceded to chat with another eagle coach.
While Bill has come under alot of chit over spygate. Andy Reid has come under a lot of crap because of the way the Eagles have played. Many people including some of his fans thought he should step down because the believed his personal problems were interfering with his coaching abilites!!! Wouldn't that be the way to show them. Come close in a game against the Pat's something only one other team has been able to do this season???
Both Coaches have come underfire this season!!

the eagles screwwed themselves when they jumped offsides on the punt after holding the pats on 3rd and 3. they gave the pats 1st down and the went on to score the winning td on that drive!

the eagles did show some holes in the NE pass defense. if AJ feeley and the eagles avg wr's can exploit it for 350 yds another good passing team can.

the eagles were well in fg range before the terrible feely int with 3 mins to go

All wins and losses in any sport are always a combination of what your team did right and the other team did wrong. What makes a team like the Patriots so great is that when the opportunity to win the game presents itself they go out and win the game and lesser teams don't
Undefeated seasons like perfect games in baseball always have a couple of extraordinary plays somewhere within them

The Eagles exploited your Defense.

its only a matter of time before a team beats the Patriots.

One of the best, exciting games....

go Patriots...

(I think they're saving the running game, for when it's really needed.. why risk injury to the runningbacks)

Everyone who is saying the Pats D was exposed is forgetting we have the best coach in the game that will FIX that...and we'll still have the last laugh...We'll lose when BELICHICK decides we lose...i.e. after Brady and Moss are resting for the playoffs...
