Asking money from relatives should be your LAST course of action and not the first. If you still have parents or other siblings, you should go to them first. Over and above that - get a job.

My parents have tried to give me money but I will not accept it because I feel like I am old enough to get it myself. I'd rather give them money because I love them and respect them very much. I don't expect them to give me anything. I feel like they raised me so it's my turn to help them out. I stopped receiving money from them when I was 16. I had a job at 17. -I don't know, that is just me.

Well, your own parents should be helping you out more if you need money ... what are you spending the money on? Things you really need or just things you really like?

It is only wrong if it makes them uncomfortable, or if you have a history of being ungrateful, and never pay them back. Other wise some family members like to help out as long as you return the favor. So no its not wrong just go about it gracously

I wouldn't ask my relatives for money. I don't know your reasons.

I've never asked... in 55 years. Why would you?

Go out and earn it there is nothing worse than people sponging off other people, live by your own means as everybody goes to work to pay their own bills and not to lend it out, in short nobody goes to work to give their pay away.

Yes, it's wrong. You knew that, though, didn't you? If you needed the money they would tell you. They're not stupid.

Yes, it's not very appropriate, and does get very annoying if it's done on a regular basis.
