A lot of travellers take a picnic and an esky to Bondi Beach and have a great time there. Don't forget the sunscreen. Try David Jones Food Hall on Christmas Eve for some really good food for the picnic. A couple of bottles of wine and some ice and you are set. By all accounts it is the place to be for travellers.

Definately hit Bondi Beach. Well where I come from it was an experience to be on the beach for Xmas day! Even getting public transport is a bit of a buzz with the drivers and passengers alike in festive mood! Take yer Santa hats and join in with the fun!

Same here.. I believe the best good lace to visit by all means is the sydney tower.. Not sure what it is actually call but you can actually view the city 260degrees view of the whole city and as far as the airport you can see at a clear afternoon. I beleive they have special promotions there and free give out things so check it out in dec.

Yes Santa clause come Christmas day.
He brings lots of goodies and lots of joy.
He only comes once a year.

Local newspapers when you get there will help, plus noticeboards at hostels, YHA etc
