2 tan theta = 7
tan theta =7/2
inverse tan (7/2) = 74.0546041 degrees

2 tan theta - 7 = 0
2 tan theta = 7 /2
tan theta = 7/2
7/2 is positive, therefor theta is in the first or third quadrant (CAST)
theta = 74 (first quadrant)
theta = 254 (third quadrant)

but your theta is between 0 and 180 therefore we are considering only the first 2 quadrants. From the above we see that theta = 74 degrees (I used tables, so the answer is rounded)

2tanθ - 7 = 0
2tanθ = 7
tanθ = 7/2 = 3.5
θ = arctan (3.5)
θ = 74.05
