Wagon, do you seriously want answers?
Mine would be the same to both. Nothing & nothing.
I'm not an old misery but have no religion , so doesn't do a thing for me on that level. (All religion is a con, a control thing etc.- don't get me started on that one)
However, the 'tradition' of it I can tolerate, to a larger degree.
But why aren't people generally nice, pleasant, decent to each other? Lots of peeps are, but sadly, too many are not.
Whoa! That sounds SO boring, but no! I will still end up giving a few people some (well-chosen, hopefully) gifts & we'll have some nice drinks & eats. DO NOT tell me tha Christmas is for kids blah blah - been there done that.... No honey, it's there for the dam*ed money, the spoilt brats who have to have the "next best thing", (who, like their parents, are probably overweight already but are never going to admit it, etc. etc.)
Anyway, enough of a rant tonight. Might go & look out for vincent now!
Happy new year then.

I wish (and hope) that the peoples of the world waken up to the awful human rights and other abuses being inflicted upon the people of China by the most brutal regime in existence since the Nazis.

I now have a personal boycott on all Chinese-made goods. You can go here http://www.boycottmadeinchina.org/ for more info.

I'm hoping for all non-tangibles this year.

I'm really wishing for peace around the globe.

Prosperity and eternal happiness for my son, his wife and their new baby.

Oh, yea and an Ekorness Stressless Chair.

Actually, shhhhh, I'm with begtan, a lay-off from the poor real estate market, I am hoping to hit a homerun with a new job in a new and exciting career field!

If only I can find it.....

I'm giving all my love and support to those I care about this year. Things have gotten pretty tough.....

Well seeing as this is a politics discussion, I would have to say my wish list would be for 2008 to bring a 'NEW' politcal party to form together, have REAL people in it for once, someone who actually speaks for the british people and chuck these nutters out of goverement who are in now....

I still would like a 360 xbox tho ;o)

I am very practical....just give me some money or a gift card...and I'll go pick out something I need or want...in my family we exchange names and buy for 1 person each....the family has grown...and that's the only way to go...we do get gifts for the kids tho...
