Probably some dang speech expert. I got to miss two hours of school every day in the 5th grade to be cured of mine by a speech therapist. I am the only one out of my sisters and mother that doesn't lisp. They made me hiss like a snake until I understand the "s" sound.

The reason it is named "lisp" is actually because that is the exact sound the person with the problem makes, when trying to speak...They got the name from the sound...what more appropriate, than that.
