But the original spot chosen for the Capital was a little spot called Bevertown in Marlborough,South Island, now called Blenheim!

Well it really depends what time frame you're referring to.
1st capital was Russell in the Bay of Islands,
2nd Auckland,
3rd Wellington

Yup, its Wellington. Most would think its Auckland, but that is the biggest city, not the capital.
