well, ive downloaded Firefox and now when i try to open internet explore it doesn't work, i need it to use msn messenger and real player etc!! plez help

click on tools > internet options > connection
see if the internet explorer is connected to inernet. if not, then run a new connection wizard

Firefox should not cause IE to stop working to my knowledge. Which says "cannot find server" IE or MSN messenger. Most Microsoft apps use IE internet settings to connect to the Internet. If it just says this when you open IW then it could just be a bad start page, try manually typing a URL like www.yahoo.com.

You have to get rid of firefox in order for you to use msn messenger because msn sometimes doesn't work on firefox. Just uninstall your firefox and install internet explorer again.

try system restore. this should uninstall firefox and bring it back to when u had internet explorer only. 2 do dis-
got to start - all programs - acessories - system tools - sytem restiore and follow instructions.

If firefox works, stick with that, it is way better and reliable, also, check your internet connection.

msn works on firefox but you may check your settings make shure that its set correctly
