My sister got married to her husband like 3 years ago. He treated her like a queen for like a year and all of a sudden a nightmare. He beats her...laughs at the law...in and out of jail and the beatings get worse if she tries to leave. One time she left and he beat up my mom and my sister for hiding her and finally she came out of hiding and left with him to protect her family. He even beat up his own mother. I'm afraid for my sister..I know she will die if she does not get out. He threatens that if she leaves...he will hurt someone from our family and eventually he'll get out and she will get it bad...I feel so bad for her!! A retraining order, a peice of paper will not protect her. He tells us...I know where you all live. :0(

This is what the Navajo Nation is dealing with...The law enforcement there is messed up. Thanks god you don't live there...this is a true story about my sister. THEY WON"T DO NOTHING!!

Keep records of all the beatings and police calls 1st. If he attacks you or your mother call the police and press charges.It's assault.The record are good for when she leaves she can get a restraining order and if he disobeys it (which it sound like he will) he can be charged under the antistalking laws.There are also underground shelter networks that can help her leave. It may mean that you won't see her for a while but at least she would be safe.

He's one super-ly insecure coward, I dared not call him a MAN, because that would degrade and insult my intelligence!
Take pictures of all the damage and injuries he has done and show it to authorities, worst still for him, show it to his friends who might give him some advice and embarress him.
Start to install some kind of recording device in your phones and catch him while he is making all those threats, and make a police report to protect yourselves! Because when you have a police report, anything happens, he will be the prime suspect.
Or you guys might want to chip in and help out his problems (if it can be solved)...don't let this continue, its now or never if you want to do something!

You need to talk to the police and find out if his mother pressed charges and make sure that each time he hit anyone a charge is filed. Eventually she'll have to be "selfish" & not care who he hurts from your family & just leave. If she does leave, then you guys will have to be on high alert & ready to protect yourselves for when the coward retaliates. Is there a way for her to take self defense classes on the sly? That way she can maybe deflect some of the punches. When my mom was going through this, she just had to leave & not look back. But my step-dad was threatening to kill us, her kids, as well as the rest of her family. Short of killing him, there is nothing YOU can do. It will be all up to your sister. well first of all u guys need to go to the police, then u should all stay in a friends house or relatives house. somewhere far away. but something really has to be done. if he beat on your mom and sis why didnt u guys ever call the cops before?? he would probably be locked up right now!

Whatever you do ... do not get a restraining order until she is somewhere safe that he cant find her. Try your local YWCA they have people that are trained to deal with these situations. Tell her all is not lost she CAN break the chain he has on her. If she can get to her doctor they now ask you if you are in an abusive relationship and if you say yes they will get you the information you need to get yourself out of it. I think more people need to stand up and say enough of this ****. We are not going to take your abusive nonsense another minute. Hopefully if he is hitting your mother and his mother one of them can have him arrested for it. He needs to be locked up and the longer the better.

All of you should find somewhere to go for an afternoon. When he gets home from work or whatever, have the police wait inside when he doesn't know they are there. Report him! They will take him away. He won't ever get out.

You all need to press charges and make sure you tell the police what has threaten everyone with. Get a gun and protect yourself. He is crazy. He will eventually hurt or kill one or all of you.

If the cops aren't helping, maybe try going talk to the DA in your area face to face. Or talk to someone in the local Police station that is over ALL domestic cases. It may work and they may watch him.
I had to talk to our local domestic abuse cop about my daughter's situation and I really felt better after talking to her.
There IS HOPE. Your sister may need to go in hiding if she really wants to leave, at least until they get him.

The next time he hits someone charge him with battery and file the charges and testify against him. Call the cops every day if you have to. This means everyone in your family must call the cops and be ready to testify at his trial.
