I never worry about what the scale says, but I do weigh myself at least once a week and sometimes more if I think about it. I'm keeping a record because I'm dieting (and I really need to lose some weight) and I want to make sure I stay on track. However, the scale does not rule my life.

Once or twice a week at the same time of the day. If you weigh yourself everyday, the small fluctuations get to you. If you weigh more than once a day, you might have a body image problem that you may need to get checked out. For many people (like the above poster), clothes are the major "signal" -- I believe there's a New York Times article about that, but since I might not wear the same pair of pants for a month at a time and depending on whether they are fresh out of the drier or not, their fit changes, I prefer the scale a couple times a month.

About never. Only when I go to the Dr.'s office. I don't want to know & honestly my weight by numbers is inconsequential to me. I lift weights all the time & am built very big & boxy so the # is always much higher than the average height/weight charts say I should be. But I know when I'm in shape & when I'm not so I don't obsess over the number. When people guess my weight they always wildly underguess to the point it's even silly for me to weigh myself. That number isn't going to tell me much.

Never, I try not to pressure myself with my weight. As long as im physicly capable to get a job done, and I look good, then i don't worry about it. But maybe once a month at most when im just standing im my bathroom after a shower or something and the scale (or gut) catches my eye.

I weigh myself 2 times a week. I don't worry about what it says, but still wish to lose weight.

I weigh myself once or twice a week, just for a check up. If I see a few pounds are out of place, I will change my diet a little and exercise more or less to keep myself at a steady level. Good luck! :)

weigh yourself every time you look down and cant see your toes, then go for a long walk. worry causes stress and stress causes weight gain, so don't worry be happy, and exercise more and pass on a few sweets and you will be fine.

i dont even own a weighing scale!
bascially i dont care about my weight.
as long as all my clothes fits and i remain in S size for clothes and M size for bottoms, i'm happy.
