There is no requirement to report and therefore no accurate numbers. Mostly they are frozen for at least 7 years--some are donated to other people who cannot conceive or for some other reason. Technically they are not fetuses yet--they are frozen within a few days after fertilization

not sure how many, but they're not fetuses yet. they're cells. so they're not babies
