I think its never too late for apologize. Its good thing that u apologize for anything. Well it may hurt u at beginning, when someone not ready to hear, but as far as i think this will enable him to understand you. Go and talk. May be u are lucky that the person accept your apology.

It's never too late to say you're sorry. Not sure what you said or did, but I think most people will forgive you and let it go. I know I would.

I would judge the person first, find out if it would help or worsen the situation. Sometimes you can do things that are more favourable than an apology.
