Probably not, but it would be better to stay in it if we are. Generally the human mind is weak and many people would probably go mad if they knew that everything that they knew was a lie.

if we were then thinking things like that would induse a lucid dream like state and you could fly and stuff soooooooo....
no we arent
also consetering that were awake 12 hours each day a bit of information could be lost every once in a while would be lost and stuff like the floor changing color or emblems dissapeering would be common
also keep in mind that hard drives wear out and mobos short out
with no human there to dignose problems the PCs attached would die in 20 to 25 years
