I have a goal , how would I find out if that's my real goal or not?
I feel like there is something I neeed to do in my life. I went through depression and anxiety all my life i am 25 now.
I am getting over depression now, that's why i ask this question because --I AM NOT SURE , if my Goal or Aim to be somebody in this world came To beat depresiion. because as you know most depressed people doesn't really have a goal .
and this is bothering me since , i am a person who likes to be sure of everything he does. .
i want to find out if that's my " real passion" or "something i made up so I could forget my depressed and painful life once and for all".

Try reading "Man, Master of His Destiny," O. M. Aivanhov,
"Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet,
"Psychoenergetic Science," Dr. William A. Tiller (a crystals engineer at Stanford), http://www.tiller.org
http://www.divinecosmos.com http://www.quantumbrain.org http://www.integralscience.org
Also, "Watch Your Dreams" and "Men in White Apparel," Ann Ree Colton, "The Master of Lucid Dreams," Olga Kharitidi, M.D.
You might try 1-800-232-6459 http://www.family.org for free one-time licensed counseling and resources, and/or http://www.easwaran.org and http://www.yogananda-srf.org
Be thankful you have your degree, as you are thus more able to apply to a more interesting program. Try Dr. Carol Dweck's "Mindset" and Dr. Elizabeth Mayer's "Extraordinary Knowing" as well.
best regards,

What did you like to do when young.
What really made time stand still for you.
What did you naturally lean towards in play.
All is not lost be any means.
With a degree you can go sideways and use it in another area, maybe by picking up a few other papers part-time.
You just need to be in a place for awhile where you can listen to your own heart. The heart knows what the mind does not.
25 is still young, you have many many years to follow your heart and passion.
Maybe you could take time out and have some travel or a quest.
There are tests on the internet that you could take, or a book that is very interesting which may help is called "The life you were born to live". You may resonate to this.
Peace in the heart

Life is rarely fun and exciting for everyone all the time. I question my purpose daily but i think part of life's journey is to find that purpose through just living your day to day. If you have a degree it doesn't make sense not to utilize your skill. You do what you gotta do. Work part time and go to a community college and take a class that sparks an interest even if it is just playing ball. It will come to you eventually and while your waiting something else might surprise you. You can't really plan life, sometimes it just happens to you.

Well, having doubts about it, totally gives off the sense that it is not what you want to do. I'm in the same dilemma but I wanted to be an engineer and my parents wanted me to be a business major. Why don't you go back to school and go to a church of your choice. Most religions help someone find a way, a goal, and something to look forward to.

I've quit asking this question myself.
I think that we all have purpose in this life, but only few of us knows what it is.
I gave up thinking too much about it.
I went through depression too, but I managed to pull through. Why not just live life as it is.
You wanted to find out your real passion. Think of what you love to do when you have some time of your own.
I hope I helped though.

There is no getting around it. Real purpose and real meaning can only come from God.
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (mathematician, philosopher, Nobel Laureate and atheist)
Our human need for our lives to be worth living drive us either to seek God or to invent pretend-purposes. For example, the often heard phrase, "make a difference in the world" really wasn't invented to help the world, it was invented to make the inventor of the phrase feel better.
Honest rejection of God always leads to nihilism and honest nihilism always leads to suicide.

I completely understand what you are saying. I think our purpose is simply to do things to make us happy. Like you said we only get 1 shot at life, do what you want to do and when you want to. Being sure of things is not a problem, that is a good thing but just do what you can to make yourself happy and not others.

Ahhh forget all that stuff my man....it's going to drive you to drink!!
The purpose of your life is to love.
Okay?
You love God first and foremost with all your heart and soul, then you love your neighbour as you yourself would want to be loved. Everything else in the whole world is secondary to that!
Live the purpose of your life and every thing else in your life will fall into place as it should be.
God bless and take care.
