Pakistan is considered a terrorist country because after we invaded Afghanistan, the terrorists that survived retreated into Pakistan and regrouped in Waziristan Province, which is in the Northwest part of Pakistan on the border of Afghanistan. Waziristan Province is basically a lawless part of Pakistan that the Musharraf government has been struggling to control, and lately, there was an immediate threat to Musharraf's government by the same terrorists that have been based in Waziristan province. Pakistan is the only country in which state sponsors terrorism as an official policy albeit secretly.It's intelligence outfit ISI has grown to the extent of generating it's own funds and has been acting beyond the mandate of even it's own government.Most of the international terrorist organizations have support bases in Pakistan in the form of recruitment,funding,training camps,supply of arms/explosives,intelligence net works,infiltration and full logistic support.Even General Mussharaf,president of Pakistan has officially stated that it's not possible to control all terrorist groups in Pakistan.Thanks to such elements,Pakistan is on the verge of being declared as a 'failed state' but for the American support.
