What policies Needed to tacke quakes?

Earthquake of magnitude 5 is Ten times more stronger than that of magnitude 4 & of magnitude 6 is hundred times more stronger than that of 4 as this is on Richter scale which is Logrithmic scale.As in recent past earthquakes of magnitude 6 or more have commanly occured in various part of world causing widespread destruction,Thank God this was only 4.3 on Richter scale.Govt should take immediate steps & frame adequate policies to prevent earthquakes of bigger magnitudes in future.

Yes, write to your government. Let them hear your ideas for earthquake policy.

Here are my ideas:

#1. Make all churches financially responsible for earthquake damage, along with damage caused by any other "acts of god".

#2. The governments should buy spikes that are 200 miles long and drive them through the earth's crust to prevent plate movement. I'm running a special sale on these spikes. Send me a trillion dollars apiece and I'll deliver them wherever you say. For another 50 trillion dollars, I'll install them.

You cannot prevent EQs. Not you. Not the government. Not anybody. No one can control the natural processes of the planet, least of all earthquakes.

The best anyone can do is to build structures that are designed to withstand seismic forces. But even that can only be but so good.
