Dear Erica!!!
As a lone person, there is no life at all.
We are born to some one and not one but two people, our parents.
When we die at least 4 people are required to carry our body to burial ground.
So we can never be alone. We depend on others for every thing, education, knowledge,,food, job, partner, children and etc.
Even if you enjoy something seen alone, your joy also was dependent upon the second one which you saw. You enjoy only when you share this with a third or fourth one.
Even if you have to be rich, some one else need be poor. Otherwise you can not be called rich. If everybody is beautiful, you will be one among them, but you can not enjoy the worthiness of being beautiful. If someone is less beautiful, your higher beauty counts.
Hence it is relative to others, it is with the help of others, it is being contributed by others, being sacrificed by others, you can get many things, but never alone.
I hope u may now see the difference between what you said and what you have read above.

Knowledge and life is a gift that is meant to be shared. There may come a time when we feel alone, but truth be told, we are never alone and life is not that cruel. Everything around us, everything we see, we hear, it is all shared. To what level we decide to share that is how we choose our life. Everything is worth something to someone, we just need to find them.
Friendships and love are not illusions, they are real and in our hearts. While we can't choose our friends, we can just be who we are. Some will follow, some leave us, but in the end it is our real friends that stand beside us. Even when we are faced with darkness, believing in your faith is knowing you will find ground to stand on or wings to fly with.

I think it is human to want to share those things that we see that are in some way special to us...
In this world there are over 6.5 billion people, and every one in his/her lifetime will witness and know certain things that nobody else will witness.
However, I think that something is not really worth knowing if you are the only person to know... because when you pass away, who will benefit?
Your quote is thought provoking...
In a way it's like a paradox... we are both alone and together - nobody else can fully be together with us in our minds, and yet we interact with others daily... we do need some interaction with other humans however.
So what is your take on it young lady? I would love to know what others think about this also.

If anything is worth seeing, it is worth seeing wether alone or not. And anything worth seeing is even more enjoyable when enjoyed with friends/family.
If anything is worth knowing, it is worth knowing wether you are the sole "knower" or one of many that share the knowledge, but having others to share the knowledge with makes it even more interesting.
By the way, who the hell is born alone? Even test tube babies get a real womb of another person.

sure. some of the things we see alone are actually more important than things we see with other people. whether it's the endlessly complex thoughts running through our heads, a glance at the stars making us feel inferior, or something as simple as watching the flames of a fire flicker, these moments define us.
and to parallel your quote, here's one from donnie darko: "every living creature on earth dies alone"
this is true, and it's unavoidable. but, friendship and love are what get us through each and everyday.

I have been alone for most of my life and I would not want to be alone when I die, so it is not worth it to see things alone because you can't share what you know

Indeed! All knowledge gained is for a purpose and that purpose is to guide you through the maze of life and prepare you for the next one. Whether or not you need to come back again or go to the next level depends on what you have learned and how you have applied it.

I love your question!
It's almost ironic really. We enjoy the illusion and we live for the moments.
It's a combination of our individuality and our connectedness where the real miraculous moments happen.
The human race is fabulous isn't it?

If the knowledge gives you inner peace, then it is worth knowing. Perhaps sharing that knowledge would be a good thing, but not sharing it does not render it completely valueless.
