I have an assignment to interview my professor to get to know him better. What questions should I ask?...this is what I have so far.

1. How long have you been a professor?
2. What college did you go to?
3. Did you go to college to become a college professor?
4. What is your favorite part about your job?
5. If you could have any other job what would you want to be doing?
6. What is the best advice you have ever received?
7. What was your favorite class that you took in college?
8. Are you currently studying or doing any personal research projects?
9. What is your biggest pet peeve as a professor?

The point of the interview is to get to know the professor better...it has to provide enough information in order to be able to write a 2 page paper about him afterwords.

You interview a professor?

Don't ask more, just listen and judge if he is nice or not.

If not, don't be a graduate student under him.
