No, my eyes are a veil for my tale.

Have you ever watched any German Expressionist silent films? Remember an actor named Conrad Veidt? (If you've watched Casablanca, you've seen him, but you haven't really seen him until you see "The Student of Prague" or "The Man Who Laughs" or even "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari".) His eyes told tales beyond the plots of the films he was in. There was also a "beyond" about the Expressionist method and presentation, a tale in every facet. In the end, the tale is what you formed in your own mind to complement the images you were shown, reduction and expansion at the same time, a tale in light and shadow. The tale does not end, and it is multifaceted.

Mine are hazel coloured. Hazel is the rarest eye color, less common than even blue, and found among those of Viking decent (Scots, Danish, etc.)

The point is they seem to fit my personality. And as both a writer of tales and an artist with a story to tell my eyes are a perfect fit for this storyteller.

Yes mine does. I am a weaver of words, I weave poems, novels, happy thoughts. My eyes are crystal clear green, shining green that twinkle and glow to match the words I weave in my tale.

My inner-senses to literary match my eyes and depend to the other's blind eyes beyond the see. He will never comprehend my eyes…or his tale doesn't match my eyes, whatever!

No, my eyes match my truth, not necessarily the journey that led to that truth.
