All of the above. It depends on what you believe.

Well, so far, I've learned that heaven is different things to different people.

To the Christian, Heaven is everywhere, goes through and transcends time, space, everything and every dimension. Heaven is within, it is without, etc... Sometimes, there is a contradiction to this where the Christian says Heaven is "here in this place", as the hymn goes, but also says, "We are in the world, but we are not of the world."

To someone who has had a near death experience, or has been declared dead and has been revived (same thing as near death experience), heaven is a definite place that exists beyond our earthly plane.

To the atheist, there is no heaven or hell, so, I guess that IS their idea of "heaven" or, that it "doesn't get any better than this". Otherwise known as "living in the moment".

To those who study ancient scriptures of various religions and cultures, heaven can be described in many different ways and existing on different planes.

As for me, I've learned to appreciate the tenets and trains of thought from all these influences. I guess you could say that for me, "it's all good." Interesting to note that this is also a Christian saying: "Everything works together for good."

My suggestion is that nobody knows, of course. I'm unwilling to commit to any belief system. I'm a solipsist, so to speak.
Things may not be at all what they seem. The 2nd law of Thermodynamics implies that we're most likely products of an infinite universe, and only pop into existence for brief moments at a time, complete with a package of memories and history. However, I have a hard time swallowing that, simply because it goes against everything I feel is true.

I guess parallel universe is probably the best way to describe how I see it. I don't know that it's up in the sky, like they love to teach at Sunday school. But for me it does exist.

Heaven is non-existent. Hell is non-existent. As John Lennon once said..."Imagine all the people living for today."

I like it! Has a nice ring to it!

Just wondering why you were so limiting in the possibilities of planes of existence.Probability waves don't collapse until a choice has been exercised but ALL the possibilities still exist even after the collapse.

Beyond the stars.

It's non-existent. Heaven and hell is here, in this life we live. WE choose where to live.

I don't think we mere humans can comprehend it.
Stephen Hawking couldn't understand it.
I'm just trusting God to take care of those details.
