I am sick and tierd of hearing how great of a coach he is, have these analyst not been watching these games?...LSU by far has the best talent this year, and they could easily be 7-5!!!

-He got extremely lucky on all those 4th down calls against FLA
-He got lucky on the last play of the game against Auburn, if they didnt catch that pass they would of lossed
-They had to drop 17 in the 4th to beat Bama

They were dominating teams early in the season, until teams started watching film and out coaching him, he has won off of pure talent..and if Tennesse beats them, and they get into some crap bowl, wow!! he should be fired!

He should go to Michigan, before he gets exposed! Michigan will be an easier schedule, and I believe they just had a bad year, this is the same team, that was an hair away from playing for the championship last year

-Im not so sure that LSU wants him to leave, Ive never heard anybody question his abilities, other than me...And if they didnt have the most talent this year, then tell me a team that has more, rember this is a down year.
- And coaches get all the credit and blame, because lots of times it is their fault, I mean sure a coach cant help missed FG'S and fumbles, but Dont underestemate what a good coach can do for a college program...Good coaching is more important in college football than any other sport IMO, just look how UGA, instally became good when Richt got their, they always had the talent, just lacked in the coaching department..

Given the level of talent on the Tiger team the Arkansas game has to go down as one of the poorest performances by an LSU coaching staff and team in its entire history with what was on the line. The coaching staff and team had as much fire in its belly as a dead dog. I will single out Coaches Miles, Pelini and Crowton as they did a horrible job in getting the Tigers ready.
In interviews before the game and at halftime Miles seemed almost cavalier in his attitude towards the game. He lets Flynn stink up an entire first half without even substituting anyone at quarterback to allow Flynn to get his head back into the game. He lets Dorsey drag his bum leg and contribute little or nothing to the LSU defense. I would have much rather seen a player with good wheels go at it no matter if he started a game or not. He couldn't have done any worse.
I guess the interview with Nebraska had Pelini's head spinning because he could not make adjustments to stop McFadden in the second half. This guy is touted as a defensive genius. That's bullsh*t! I remember the days of Charlie McClendon and while he was terrible at offense I will guarantee you he would have made adjustments to stop McFadden in the second half. A ONE-DIMENSIONAL team eats your lunch. Let Pelini go to Nebraska.
With regard to Crowton, did you listen to Gary Danielson (I think I have that right) the television announcer call what LSU was going to do once they lined up. It was amazing how accurate he was in the second half. The offense has been so inconsistent in the second half of the season and the blame goes to Crowton.
Personally, get rid of all three of these characters. They have done so little with so much.
I don't even think they will beat Tennessee and thank God they don't have to play Georgia because the Dawgs would kick their azz up the field and down the field with regularity.

First off, I think coaches get to much credit when they win, and to much blame when they lose. Second, I don't think LSU is as talented as everyone thinks. They have a good, but not great running back, a decent, at best, QB. Their best player on offense has been hurt, same with their defense. Don't get me wrong, they have a lot of talent, but they don't have enough to dominate everyone every game. He did make a bone head call against auburn, but everyone makes mistakes. Why does everyone in LSUville want him to leave? Do they think they are going to get better? I don't think Saban wants to come back, and Stoops, Tressel and Meyer are all happy where they are. Carroll looks like he might jump to the pros, since USC is under investigation. Maybe they could get the old ball coach, but he has lost his mind.

Even before LSU lost to Arkansas, Les Miles had his real estate agent up in Michigan looking for a place. After they lost, he went straight to Ticketmaster and ordered tickets for the first flight to Ann Arbor after LSU's bowl game. He is not a good coach, he just had more talent than any coach in the nation. Yet, he still found a way to mess it up. I really wanted to see LSU play in the title game too.

i have to admit i think your right and im a bigtime lsu fan. also the tigers were the most penalized team in the sec this year, which made alotta their games close-miles addressed this earlier in the season, but it didnt seem to go away(look at that illegal motion penalty yesterday which brought back a 65 yard touchdown in the fourth against ark-and lsu was forced to punt) and calling some of these weird plays- idont know i think some of the players maybe started to doubt him later in the season. look how they steamrolled miss st and va tech early in the year.
