How are abnormal personalities formed in your opinion?

I think that your personality develop's through environmental stimuli. I.e abused children are more likely to develop a Schizoid Personality Type. Neglected children..Histrionic.

But science tells us that a large portion of personality development is linked to genetics. I would like to think differently but the cold science is there.

Well, I think it's some combination of genetics and environment. In twin studies (identical vs. fraternal), concordance for personality traits tends to indicate a strong genetic influence.
However, to use one example of "abnormal" personality - psychopaths - while the traits that underly this type of personality are heritable, and observable from a very young age... the likelihood of such an individual going on to become an _antisocial_ psychopath (like, some criminals) seems to be more strongly predicted by abuse in childhood. A lot of the traits that are described as psychopathic are also seen in functional members of society (like politicians).

When a child is not protected, he or she can invariably be exposed to thing prematurely before they have enough life experience to process the information as an adult could. as a result the child starts to make assumptions that are not based on fact, their view on life gradually becomes distorted to the point where they are forced to adapt to a world that does not exist in the norm, they spend most of their lives hiding the fear, hatred ,and disappointment after they discover that they lack the commonalty with others and the ability to connect. as a result they become highly adaptive, most develop pleasant personality with a high need for approval, eager to please, they have difficulty recognizing abusive personality because most of the time it is a cake walk com-paired to where they come from some people might even call them professional Vitim's, but the truth is they are the docile killer who most of the time is much more dangerous then their abuser. when a child is not loved ,protected,and nurtured it creates a very unusual dichotomy where they will seek to hurt, and control every one who loves them, and eat the fruit that will take their life. a prophecy of self destruction. they may not be suicidal but they view death as the only solution.

I dont be attentive to. My dad is going into those manic states and he acts like an entire distinctive guy or woman. He doesnt declare to be somebody else yet he's distinctive. i think of there are human beings obtainable that faux their psychological wellbeing issues to get interest or to get on incapacity so it extremely is somewhat hard to declare who's faking it and who isn't. Is it conceivable that individuals can somewhat have a multiple character sickness? sure i think of so however the hard area is telling who's faking.
