A couple of weeks ago my computers CD rom drive just started to randomly eject itself. I can be in the other room and I would hear it just eject and I could walk in and see the tray open. It also sometimes closes it self. Just wondering if anyone had any insight on what might be causing this?

...could it be a sticking eject button? see if it opens with the control cable removed with only the power connected.. if it only does it with the power connected then the button may be stuck.

also. (i have no clue who would be interested in this anymore) but i read that there's a virus that can let some one control that.
