Abu Dhabi is a very beautiful city. It has a very scenic corniche, beautiful malls, one is located at the breakwater near the Emirates Palace. It also has an observatory .
The housing comnunities are really beautiful and have wonderful landscaping. Even on the roads you will see landscaping near the bridges and at the Khalifah Gardens too.
Al Ain is completely green and the flower crown of the capital. There are several tourist places there to see.
Sir BaniYas Island is a jewel in arabia , a sanctuary for many beautiful animals. I could go on. Only one you researches one's own environments and sees it beauty can only appreciate it.

What is ugly in Abu Dhabi?
I love to go there for lunch in The Emirates Palace Hotel.
I love to go there cos there is no traffic, unlike Dubai.
I love Etihad airways in Abu Dhabi as it is a bigger seat and cheaper price.
And I am going there next month for Justin Timberlake concert! Wooohoooo...

I even have been to the two places. Dubai is my determination. by using fact a million. there are a number of places to flow in Dubai than Abu Dhabi 2. many stuff to do in Dubai. 3. coming up quicker. 4. greater jobs. 5. greater suitable way of existence

No it's not ugly. I lived near it for many years and I enjoyed visiting it. Yes there aren't many "attractions" but what makes a place ugly is its people, and I think its people are good.
