As much as I would like to see Jeb Bush as our next President, America really needs someone else other than a Bush or a Clinton. After All, George H.W. Bush as Vice President from 1981 to 1989, President from 1989 to 1993, Bill Clinton served as President from 1993 to 2001, abd George W. Bush will serve as President from 2001 to 2009. If Hillary Clinton is elected (and I am for sure she will get re-elected in 2012), she will serve eight years and then America will have had a total of 32 years of Bush and Clinton in office. America needs a fresh start with some who's last name is not Bush or Clinton.

Here's a refreshing concept. Do away with the electoral college and whoever raises the most money wins. Strangely enough, the one man / woman, one vote concept worked well for our forefathers. The electoral college has been controlling the government for over 100 years.
Vote as you see fit. The parties have become so blurred over the years that it seems like all we get is the same old song and dance.

I think many of us feel exactly the same about this issue. Americans are growing tired of the same ole empty rhetoric and empty promises spewed out by our so called "representatives". Some are truly Honorable and patriotic people sadly most are not. Most are just tired fat ole hogs feeding off the trough of the public. Occasionally they will take time from their glutinous feeding frenzy to throw[or spew] a Lil pork our way!! Mighty wide of them ain't it?-------The time is coming when the American People need to quit feeding these PIGS and form our own party maybe call it the AMERICAN PARTY!! I don't know call it anything but republican or democrats i cant take much more of them! Most of "them" need to be sent packin to the "FAT FARM"

If a Republican can't be in office every term, then I would like an idea like yours-a Republican and Democrat in office. Or, every four years, the parties switch out. I'd like both parties in office working together better, though. I just hope a Republican gets in office in the next election. *fingers crossed*

Voting for a third-party will just keep the democrats from the win. That keeps happening.

Fresh ideas?
Have you heard of Ron Paul. His ideas are about as fresh as they get.
Why can't we get good republicans/dems to get the nomination?

Dont worry, as long as we dont nominate Guliani, Clinton wont be able to beat us. I like Huckabee. He is one of few honest people in Washington. He is also consistent and smart.

America hasn't had a major third-party in about 100 years, but that's not to say it couldn't happen again.
Besides, the answer is Barack Obama...
