My wife and I were at our neihbor's for thier Son's B-day (our son is same age). The husband was complaining to me that they his wife was always too tired etc... for sex. when we got home, my wife started telling me how she was complaining because he is never willing to watch the kids (I didn't know a parent had a choice), he didn't cook, do laundry and complained that she is always too tired. So I thought... if a beautiful women said "for every hour of work, we will have sex one time" would you do it??? Well, convert helping the wife around the house (and watch your own children for goodness sake) and maybe she won't be so tired, and maybe then you can have some time together. Of course, it may just result in YOU being too tired, but hey, then at least you won't complain.

Sorry if I explained it work, didn't mean to suggest actually makeing a "trade", just suggesting one might help out around the house/with the kids and that would give the other rest & possibly the DESIRE to have sex. Thanks for answers though.

I recently read a study that said the more the man pitched in, the happier he tended to be with his sex life. So I think you are on the right track.

For me, it isn't just about being tired-it's about feeling like the damn maid/cook/babysitter 24/7 while everyone else has their downtime from school or work. It doesn't do much for my mood at bedtime.

Thanksgiving is a good example. We drive 300 miles, I help cook, clean, corral kids and dog, blow up air mattresses, make beds, do laundry, do half the driving there and back, and then he wonders "what's for dinner" an hour after we are home and I am doing a mountain of laundry. He has been visiting with relatives (male), watching or playing football, playing Risk, walking the dog once a day (everyone walks the dog once per day). He will complain about the "stuff" not being put away from the trip, and then ask for sex at bedtime as we have been sharing a room with our kids for the last four nights. Murder is more likely than sex at that point!

I must say that I help around the house, I usually fix dinner (she cleans up) and we manage to have sex 5+ times a week... being good to your partner has it's advantages.

I wouldn't go for one hr. of sex for every hr. worked, but I would go for a little bit of extra sex if my hubby helped around the house. I think we would both be happier cause we are getting what we want. Help and sex. Good Luck!

ITs important to help your wife around the house no matter if she has sex with you or not...

I think thats a totally cool theory and would absolutely consider making a "proposition" like this to my husband!

Hmm~ now I see why he's so eager to help me sometimes... wink, wink :P

Interesting. Not for me, but it might work for some. I don't like the idea of trading sex for favors or vice versa.

Hey, that might actually work. But, i don't know who would enjoy the reward more, me or my hubby.

Marriage is not "Let's Make a Deal"...that is an unrealistic game ...and so is your suggestion.

LOL - yes it works! Whenever my husband makes dinner for me it makes me want to please him any way he wants.
