i'm no longer thoroughly up so velocity on the metrosexual subject remember, yet, i be attentive to, you ideas come across a metrosexual a a salon / spa. they could get nail cropping's, pedicures, eyebrow waxes, and so on.. So, they might seem or have uncomplicated femine characteristics, yet, they are not gay. Metrosexuals does no longer have beards, mustaches, and so on.

I didn't know what this meant until I had a date with a metrosexual. He invited me into his home. It was immaculate. Shiny, waxed floors. He had prepared cocktails with fresh lemons. He sauteed food with cook ware nicer than my girlfriend's who is a chef. And then...he showed me his art room. Complete with oil paintings of artists, some of whom I recognized, that were displayed thoughtfully lighted. I was shocked when he wanted to kiss me. And rather well, I might add. Nonetheless, I found his fear that I might wrinkle his clothing during our embrace disconcerting enough that I did not accept another date. Call me a redneck. ;)

Smile. I know quite a few of them: some are my friends and others are employees. As far as I can tell, there are degrees to how metro-sexual one needs to get on a road to his personal perfection. Smile. Some enjoy facials, upscale skincare products and weekly visits to a tanning Solon more than we ( females that is ) have time or money for. Some go a bit further with use of laser hair removing systems, regular visits to a dermatologist and daily exercise with a personal trainer. Some color, highlight and fashionably trim their hair and shape their eyebrows. Some have perfectly manicured fingers and toes. Some have impossibly expensive hunger for fashion ( that matches our own ). I personally enjoy their company, because they are esthetically pleasing and have a vest knowledge of girly things I care about in my own life. One thing I never cared to ask them about is their sexual orientation. I simply do not think it is any of my business.

A metro-sexual man is a man who likes to look good and takes care of himself......although many say they are too feminine it does not mean that they are gay. Metro-sexual means a man of the new age and "Hollywood" like. He does not wear make-up but he tends to wax or pluck and may even get manicures and they are straight men.

It's putting more time and effort into your apperance than the average man..this includes style, grooming, etc.
it actually stands for "metropolitan" - I don't think these men are gay, some are, but in general I would call them progressive
My ex was metro, it didn't bother me at all, it kinda grew on me

Metro sexual is fine. It just means that you know how to dress and you like to look nice. You might have a couple characteristics that are kind of girlie. It is not gay. It does not mean that you are gay. I have dated guys that cared more about their looks than me, but then I am a tomboy. I like it either way.

A man that has feminine characteristics - in other words, he's a girly-man - eg. skin products, designer wear, hair-styling products, lots of shoes, etc.
They're similiar to sensitive new age guys.
