A few years ago a long time friend of mine found me in classmates. We have been talking ever since then. We even go visit each other from time to time. Then a few more friends found me the same way. As time went on, I moved back to my home town. Now I work at the local school and found that some of my class mates were there as well. None of us could ever afford to go to the Class reunions as they just cost to much. We ended up having our OWN reunion, and plan to have more as time passes by. Like all reunions we all talk about the way things were and where every body has gone, who has passed on. We are glad that we all have found each other again.

Not frequently, but it is fun when we manage to pull off a reunion.

My last high school reunion involved the first three classes to attend my school; and it was fun! A few of us have kept up via e-mail and have mangaged to meet for dinner or a concert a few times.

The retirees from my husband's fire department meet once a year in the mountains of N. Georgia. We haven't been able to get away for one of the meets yet, but next year I'm determined that he will take time off to go visit with all our old friends.

This past week my oldest daughter came home for a visit. As she was making plans to visit with some of her old friends, my husband and I were chatting with their parents. We all keep promising to get together; but then we end up getting busy and not finalizing plans.

The last reunion we attended was hubby's 50th high school class reunion last month. During a tour of the new middle school, he collapsed, blamed it on low blood sugar, and continued the tour in a wheelchair.

Later that same day, at dinner, we were collecting our badges, and he collapsed again. No excuses this time. I asked them please to call 9-1-1.

Doctor's explanation -- his heart was racing and not pumping enough blood to his brain, so his brain said, "OK. I'm going to lie down." And once he was lying down, everything was more equal.

He spent the next 11 days in the hospital there, and two days after I got him home again, he was hospitalized closer to home for five more days.

They're still trying to normalize heart rate and rhythm, but at least he's home now.

Next reunion is in April. We hope to have a less spectacular time!

My husband and I get together with my best friend and her husband fairly often, we only live about an hour apart now. The friends I grew up with back home I sometimes see when I'm there, but mostly my reunions are with family.

Yes we get together a couple times a year with a group of people and their spouses. It is a great time because we are all about the same age.
