Mine looks so much like me it spooks my husband! I really do have very large dark eyes and I do wear my hair layered down both sides like that - have done for years, although my haircolour is a little less red, a bit lighter. Are you scared people will recognise your avatar as you?

Add (a lot!!) grey to my hair and it could be my drivers license picture!!! Yes, unfortunately, I really do look like that!!!

My avatar looks like how I wish I could look. Not that I'm ashamed of how I look. It's just that I have to keep my hair shaved cause when my hair grows out it gets very itchy and wear these stupid glasses. I would like to wear shades like somebody who doesn't need glasses. I dressed up my avatar like somebody from "The Matrix". They didn't have any "Silent Hill" options.

Well I always thought the point of the avatar was to make it look like you the best you can. Mine is exactly what I look like which was the intended purpose :-)

I actually had my best bud and a girl i know do my avatar. They said they would make it look just like me. Anyone who knows me could easily see the picture and think "Heya, its Damien!" Sometimes i forget its a cartoon and then laugh about it.
Its like a clone of me!

Mine looks exactly like me as I was 43 years ago. And yes I worry everyday someone will recognize me. I often get emails from pregnant women saying ..."son?, is that you?"

Somewhat. It's pretty close to being a type of cartoon of me. Not really concerned anyone will recognize it.
If it bothers you, change it! You can make it to be anything you like...

Pretty close actually. My hair's not that wavy and it's darker now. But other than that, it's pretty close. Not enough for anyone to recognize me or anything.
