I would not recommend ballet flats for that!!!
I know they are comfy, but they are more for fashion and going to show off and not to be standing for long hours. I know this cause, one day I wore mine for a day and my heels were killing me!!
Podiatrist dont recommend, to wear a shoe that is so flat. I say this cause a podiatrist that I know recommends to wear dress shoes that are 2 inches high
if you want to know about sport shoes, I would say, New Balance shoes
SaS shoes are very good

too bad you cant buy them on the web
there are also the Dr. sholls shoes, which are sold by walmart
walmart carries another brand that I forgot the name of it
they have a very thick comfy lining on the inside

1)24/F 2)A couple times when I stayed over a friend's, otherwise no. I rarely wear socks to sleep and if I do, I have cozy socks that I wear when I get home 3) At my friends, plain white up the calf socks (winter time), not dirty or loose. At home they are fluffy colored striped socks with those gripping dots on the bottom 4) Pretty much never. It's been a one time occurrence in the past few years. 5) yes, it is 11:25PM 6) 6 hours ago 7) they will be removed 8) yes, but I'd rather air out a bare foot 9) yes, not too dirty I keep my apartment clean, for the last time I do not sleep in them 10) I change my socks 11) I remove my own socks/shoes. My boyfriend does whatever he wants lol

I agree.. ballet flats are the comfiest, but you can also get cute "work" shoes at some stores. I have this one pair of flats that aren't quite a ballet flat, but they're in that family... and they have extra cushioning at the bottom, specifically for working and being on your feet all day.
Just look around and make sure you try on shoes, and if there's any chance that you don't think they're comfortable, don't get them! Just take your time shopping... comfortable, yet cute work shoes are out there!

if price is not important, I love dansko and mephisto shoes. they aren't the most glamorous of shoes, but are super comfy. I especially love dansko shoes. I always wear them when I am travelling and going to be walking a lot.
you don't really mention what type of work environment, so not sure which shoes to recommend, but dansko does great clogs, and h ave recently come out with more dressy shoes.

Tennis shoes by Brooks. Guaranteed for 30 days. They match insole and if not happy within 30 days, you can take them back..........Find another shoe that does that..about $60

If you are wearing pants and the place you work at is semi dressy than i would suggest a kitten heel. its just a tiny little heel and they're really cute, but it might take a day or two to get used the them.

Three inch high stiletto pumps!
No?
See, you already know the answer.
Look at the shoes nurses wear (real nurses, not the ones in porno flicks).
