In Los Angeles that is not too Bad. You should seek another job. It is a good wage so don't get an attitude and act mad or leave quit the job. Keep working and use them for a reference and see what others are getting paid. Look at ads in the newspaper and inquire at other company's what they pay. You never know what will happen but you have to put the foot work in. You are still very new so you may need to work there a little while to gain experience and a good reference.

an hour? well,if your're working 8-9 hours a day,u should earn 189 a day, and roughly $ 3k a mth.. in my country (malaysia),that's a high paying job..unless u work in unfix hours per day,let say 3-5 hours a day..well,u do the maths, how much u could earn per mth,and is it worth it..? I mean,if u only work few hours a day,I dont think it will add up that much at the end of the mth..

May,
In order to help you, please expand on the type of duties you are responsible for. What do you ultimately want to do with the experience of working in public accounting? Are you planning on sitting for the CPA exam? Please provide more details.
