Liberal white folk don't feel guilty, they are convinced they are above all that. They want the rest of us to feel guilty!

I'm a liberal, and I don't feel guilty about it. I had no part in it and would not have participated in it if I had been around then. I think we should all let it go and start over.

Throughout history one group has been mistreated by another. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could stop slavery and genocide globally?

I don't feel guilty. None of my ancestors ever owned slaves. I think it was a shame and a mar in our country's history, but it is the past. We need to worry about the slavery that still exists in the world. Please use proper grammar next time you ask a question

Why are so many of your questions aimed at white people?I could think of a few to ask blacks,,,but I don't because, because I would be named a racist like you already admit you are.It sounds like you are the one who needs to let it go homey.By the way,,,I don't know any white people that feel guilty about slavery. But I do know a lot of black people that are ashamed of some of their own.

I don't feel guilty for anything I never took a direct part of. But I damn sure get sick and tired of hearing about it every day. It Is What It Is ........And it's over.

I don't feel guilty, I wasn't here, neither were my ancestors. But then again, I'm not liberal either.

Although I do agree that slavery was a horrific crime.

Because the legacy of slavery and discrimination endure. Blackness has been portrayed as something lesser, something dirty and subhuman. Racism is alive and well in America today. It creates our crime-ridden ghettos.

Because conservatives don't feel guilty about anything?

It's not about feeling guilty, it's about recognizing a shameful chapter in our history and showing that we as a nation today do not condone such an atrocity.
