I have a sweet tooth tooI and will usually go for these options when I have no access to candy:
* buttered toast with cinnomin & sugar
* bowl of cereal
* fruit (apple slices, orange, etc)

I also find satisfaction from a huge glass of cold chocolate milk (if I have any Nestle's Quik in the house)!

Take sugar, butter , and milk . Mix into a heavy paste, then turn the skillet on. Fry the mixtue until it gets a little hard. Sit the hard mixture on auminum or something to cool. Then I eat it, it is called a praline, a candy from New Orleans.

Bake a cake, make a pie, bake cookies, there are a number of possibilities, the only problem is, they all involve effort. If you have gum laying around, that would be easy, then go to bed early so as to vanquish the craving.

have you ever tried eating a small amunt of carbs? I also observed a recipe once that had nuts, chocolate chips, sunflower seeds, raisins, and perchance Chex mix or dry granola or something in it. The sweet contained in the raisins and the choc. chips will fulfill your yearning for goodies, even if it do not have that many energy. also, you may try substituting salty ingredients, like dill pickles--it truly works for some human beings.

make pancakes, mix sugar and cocoa powder and vegetable oil together to get a semi-edible chocolate product, call every nearby friend and beg them to take pity on you and bring you a candy bar. some advice... next time you're at the store, stock up so this doesn't happen again. :)
