You hair hurts because your scalp has become too sensitive to touch or other things in the atmosphere. You can either go about it the home remedy way or see a doctor who may prescribe something. Use gentle shampoo even baby shampoo works. Put pure oil in your hair for a few hours, coconut, olive, almond and the oil will nourish your scalp while protecting it from harsh things. Even yogurt with some oil will do wonders to the scalp condition. Also, check to see if you are allergic to something, fabric, hair product, comb, diet. Watch your diet, have you changed something ? I hope this helps you.
