I've seen some claims by people in other countries that most Americans have never left their home state. I have to say, in my experience, I do not find this to be true. So my question is: Have any of you never visited another state, other than your home state, in the U.S.?

Heavens yes! I've been to over forty foreign countries and lived for eight years in one of those countries. I've also been to all fifty states in the union. I haven't lived in my home state for fifty years and have only visited the city of my birth twice in those five decades.

I've been to every state other than Alaska. I love to travel and I had made it a goal of mine to visit every state in the U.S., just 1 more to go. I find that statement to be false as well. I hardly know anybody who has not left their home state.

I think the stat is most Americans never live outside thier birth state (which I personally dont see a problem with) but anyway Ive visited plenty of states. In fact my job is in a different state than where I live.

Yeah, that is probably most Americans have never lived in other states. I have lived in 4 and I've found that I am not the norm. I have been to many other states too.

I have traveled to several different states, I have left this country when I was in the Army so yes I have seen my fair share of the world. I'd say I have seen close to 20 different states.
