I have, up until now, allowed others to email me and have become friends with a lot of very lovely people via email. Without that we have no way of contacting a kindred soul do we? But people have to ruin things for everyone

I am sorry that this has happened to you.
Of course, if the link on the profile mail comes back to the profile that you gave us the link for, then it means this person WAS the one that sent it! I wonder why? What would motivate a person that hasn't posted anything in a month, to send such a vicious letter?
It makes you think of the denizens under the bridge, for sure.

It's a slang term for get lost, get out of here. Thats why people say "Go Kick Rocks"

Really strange, Isotope. Just read her profile and questions and answers...she's fairly new, sounds young, and just doesn't seem like the type to send you a mail like that. Try mailing her back and asking what's up (her e-mail is open). Could someome be screwing around with you and posing as her somehow?
Hope you get if figured out...seems like someone always has to keep things from being peaceful, doesn't it?
Take care.

Sorry you've gotten a nasty e-mail. You can block the person who sent it, that way you could still get e-mails through your profile without getting any more from who ever sent the nasty one. If Raven e-mailed you through your profile, then your e-mail address is not revealed. I hope you will forward the e-mail to Yahoo! Answers: y_answrs_team@yahoo.com

Well Iso, I am shocked that this could happen in Y/A! Just goes to show how diligently the Y/A heads of state are watching what goes on! I was not able to read her email to you but I did get your Profile and it seems that you have all bases covered. But I'm with Wickwire! Follow his suggestions and please be safe CJ

Where did your path cross with hers? I got a kick out of another girl getting mad at people thinking we are posting questions in the wrong category. I'm actually a little embarrassed for the poor thing because she keeps commenting to different people.

If she said it like a threat, it could be against the law. My ex husband threatened to kill someone over the phone and the police came and took him away. The Internet is like over the phone. Report her to Yahoo and block her. Send Y her email.

Now that is just plain wierd! Not kicking rocks here, been grocery shopping and snoozing. I would put a block on the profile.

I agree with others. Block her NOW. But, how did she get your email address? When I look at your profile, it says you don't accept emails or im's. Did you just change it? It is very weird and kinda scary!

Whoa.....absolutely report this! That's a criminal offense! I saw a Raven on here before and can't remember when but it couldn't have been that long ago.
I was upstairs having tea and pumpkin pie, no rocks here!
