Johnny,,
You can remove the fuel inlet valve assembly from those carbs Externally.
You can try simply removing it,,spraying it with carb cleaner spray, and reassemble.
It may only be gummed-up slightly from sitting???
If it continues to leak,,,,Replace the fuel valve assy.
To actually Replace the thing requires removing float bowl.
Have a float bowl gasket handy
......................................
Here's some info,pics,etc.
Pretty simple job.

***Once in a while,,,run a tank of Chevron Premium fuel thru it.
Or,,a mild dose of any sort of Fuel Injection Cleaner.
FUEL INJECTION Cleaner,,not "carb cleaner".
Chevron Techron ,Seafoam,etc.
Good Luck with it

Check float needle AND Float Level Adjustment Level: remove float bowel.push pin out thet float pivots on, and needle will drop out. Clean everything. reassemble, and adjust float so thet it will push needle UP in needle cavity and stop fuel flow. appx. 5/16 from bottom of carb body. S&S has some of the Best info at their website, including downloads of Service Bullitens, Set up info etc.

Simple: the float is stuck in the open position. causing gas to pour out.
Take a plastic hammer and tap the top and side of the carb, it might unstick.

ok so it sonds like the float isnt working right there is this little acorn shaped thing the float pulls up and down alowing gass into the carborater boul, and there is a little pin that holds it to the float, that may have broken off and you can make a makeshift one with i piece of wire if you just take the carborater you will see.

Either a stuck float, or some crud stuck in between the float needle and seat.

it's a stuck float in your carburetor, try tapping the float bowl where the fuel line hooks up to it, that may release it, but you should have the carb rebuilt soon or at least have the needle and seat changed.
