Edge is a very great performer!!! If you watch him, hes acting skills are far better than most other superstars.
he's got acting skills, mic skills, athletisism, etc.
Yet most people dont like him just because hes a heel
Anyone else think edge is one of the wwe's best performers? If not, who is?

Agreed ~ he's one of the best heel stars on S/down.He has the smarts,in-ring ability & all-round skills to be World champion.He has the mic skills & can work the fans as a heel.He can work & carry matches.And nearly all his bouts are full of action & high-impact wrestling.
On Raw the comeback kid Y2J is prob the best star on that roster for the same reasons as Edge.His acting skills & work on the mic are awesome.That promo he cut on last week's Raw was whack.We'll get to see soon enough just how talented a wrestler is & how he's been missed since 2005.

Edge is the top guy on Smackdown (The Undertaker is in a class all his own). I don't think he's underrated and under-appreciated. He is a heel, though; he's supposed to be hated. Tully Blanchard once explained about being a heel: "my job is to irritate people". By that criterion Edge is doing a good job at being a heel. He is one of the WWE's best performers, in the ring and on the mic.

Edge by far is a great actor. However, we are looking for great wrestlers. Edge acts and pretends to be things he's not just so he can get an unfair advantage or find an opritunity to cheat somebody out of something to get it. You are right, he is a heel and that is why people don't like him.
Now there is definatly no way to say who is the best performer is. That is just way to opinionated. However, I am going to put in my two cents and say that Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker are two of the best performers.

Do you see how many people actually like Edge, especially on Y!A? Edge may be a heel and be booed (because you're supposed to boo heels), but so many people like Edge. The only reason to hate him is because of his story with Amy Dumas/Lita and Matt Hardy.

The best part of entertainment is being able to play the role to the best of your ability. Edge does just that. people don' like because of his questionable story lines. Though I don't agree with the current angle of Him and Vickie, ( only because of Eddie) you have to admit he plays the role.
Jamie played a good Ray
Kevin Costner did a great Mr. Brooks.

Edge has Wrestling Ability, Mic Skill, Chrisma, Endurance, and can get Heel heat easily.
He is the best entertainer today.

I agree completely. I wish people would appreciate him more then they do. But the fact that he’s a heel, and everyone hates him is proof at how good he is. To be that hated as a heel is just as good as being cheered as a face. I love Edge, he is my favorite, but the fact of the matter is he’s a heel, we just have to deal with it.

He is one of the best there is no doubt about that. But understand being a heel is supposed to mean the fans hate him. When a feel is hated it means he is doing his job.
As for the persons comment about wrestling being so fake that its not fun to watch anymore ... ok I don't get it, wrestling has ALWAYS been fake, but you talk like it was once fun. Its not anymore fake now than it used to be.

Edge is great!!! For many years he was my fav. wrestler! He is one of the best superstars in the WWE!
