A log fell really hard on my mother's head friday night and she seemed fine but right now she is feeling nauseas, dizzy, and sick...should she go to the doctor immediately?

Head injuries are tough...symptoms can be delayed. It is probably a good idea to have her go get checked and get a CT. If her eyes are unequal,or having trouble staying awake, or lost conciousness when the log fell, I would definately get it looked at.

I think you should, seeing a doctor definately wouldn't hurt. You could also ring up a number that you should find in the 'important' part of any phonebook. It'd be like a 24 hour nurse or something like that. But see a doctor.

You are describing what could be a concussion. Go to the er now so they can do a cat scan to rule out any swelling. Swelling causes more damage than the impact!

Pack up and leave now.

Yes, she needs to be seen at the ER right now. Call 911 rather than driving her yourself--she'll get quicker care.

YES! She might be bleeding in there! GO NOW. She needs a CT scan of the head.

Take your mom to the ER immedialty. this is not good. She could have a concussion.... or call 911
