A tech in my area gets $75/ph, but these chores are easier than you might think. The things you mentioned, you could do by yourself by simply following the directions that come with the products.

I'm a computer teacher, not a tech, but I do these things for certain friends occasionally for only $20/ph.

Way more than its worth. RAM just snaps in. Hard drive is just a couple screws and two plugs. The internet is your friend for step by step guides for installation.

Go to www.bestbuy.com and then to the Geek Squad section. They list their prices for various services. This will give you an idea of what "computer guys" charge. Doing freelance pc repair, I used to charge $50/hr.
