LOL

You first must understand the thought process of a neo-con. Neo-cons require the pretense, for the pretense is the anchor to their altered version of reality. Without the anchor, they would be forced to turn off their irrational imaginations, and come face-to-face with the horrible consequences that so many have suffered as a direct result of their actions.

Those were the first orders.
If he does that now he will look guilty to Americans who still support him and his only chance to make a legacy for himself.
Maybe he is concerned for his safety and well being since he will probably be confined to live here in the US.
Plus there won't be enough troops to guard the oil fields against an Iraqi army that would form very quickly.

Why would a Texas oilman and the former head of Halliburton care about oil?
Seems like some bizarre conspiracy theory to suggest that people who got their wealth from oil would want to secure Iraqi oil fields. Crazy.

Rich, you are so far gone it amuses me. lol

Iraqui oil has nothing to do with our involvement there, among other reasons because Iraqui oil accounts for a very small percentage of the world's oil reserves. Whatever your feelings about our involvement in Iraq, it has nothing to do with oil. That's a myth generated by people who want to make the President's motives seem evil. I don't agree with a lot of what has happened, but I don't believe for a second that the President gives two cents for the oil fields - they just aren't that important compared to the rest of the world.

this is really good...

the first place we went upon getting there was to get the oil and convert the oil exchanges to dollars rather than euros which cost the iraqis money

You answered your own question. It must not be so much about oil if he hasn't done it to this point.
