Not that I've noticed. Most of them choose to ignore the scandals and corruption we keep seeing surrounding their party and the White House. They severely underestimate the resentment and disgust so many Americans feel about so many issues that they directly connect with the Republican Party and George Bush. If they proceed in the Presidential Election using the Karl Rove Smear Tactic Handbook that worked so well for them in 2004 they may lose by record numbers. Even if they don't play that game, they're going to have a hard time trying to walk that fence between seeming to be a loyal Republican and distancing themselves from George Bush and his policies. If they don't distance themselves from such an unpopular and divisive President they lose before they even begin. But then again, if they criticize him too much they run the risk of alienating the base, and the Independents they pick up won't cover the party votes they could lose. Talk about a rock and a hard place.

They wouldn't know if they were screwed if you left the KY on their pillow. Their egos and self righteous head in the clouds attitude would never allow for such a thought. Hell ,they have been screwed and screwing the country up for years and they still don't get it. But why should they when the great American public (sheep), continue to vote for them and take it right in the cornhole everytime they do.

Nope. If Hillary is the democratic nominee I think we have a HUGE chance at the White House no matter who our nominee turns out to be. If Obama gets it, it will be more difficult but still possible. Of course at this stage ANYTHING can happen. I look for the candidates to start pulling out all stops. Let the mud slinging begin! UGH!

Republicans had been languishing in the shadows of the Democrats candidates.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Republicans are worried. Conservatives are too arrogant to believe anyone would vote for a Democrat for any reason.

No.

Democrats never run a worth while candidate. Right now Biden is the best thing the DNC has going for it and liberals throw their support for Edwards, Obama and Clinton. Thats why they will lose again, simply by their own hand.

No. I felt better after the last dem debate. I think any of the dem candidates will be pretty ineffective. A lot of sound byte but not much plan of action in any of them. I think if a dem wins, it will just be a matter of riding it out for 4 years.
