The ability to run the race is what counts the most .

Oh yes!!
I actually MADE the finish line without breaking anything or getting distracted by the pretty grass in the middle of the field.
Plus, some little girl might see me, fall in love with me, talk her wealthy father into buying me and giving me a cushy life in some pasture somewhere...

but my hubby won $500 because his horse came last in the Melbourne cup
in a news paper competition & he only got the news last week saying he won because they lost his address & actually sent the cheque to the wrong address & it was then they realized the problem :) so yes it can be LUCKY :)

Yes, it shows you that one will win and the other will loose .It will show if the winner in gracious and the looser is a good sport.
