Yes, I lost my brakes coming down a mountain in Colorado and I had trouble keeping the truck under control, 80,000 pounds and no way to slow it down!! I prayed like I have never prayed before, going around those curves, and it started to slow as the ground leveled out!! I had seen my life flash before my eyes and just knew that it was going to flip and roll!! Do I believe in miracles, yes, that day convinced me that I was being watched and held in His hands!!

Yes, twice actually. Both involving car accidents. The first was one in 1991. I was driving too fast and went around a 25 mph curve (i didn't see the sign until it was too late) and my car flipped over like a pancake and I was hanging upside down. I broke my collarbone. Second. 2003- I was waiting for the green light to get on the freeway. A truck cut off another car and hit me square on and my head went through the windshield. I remember pulling my head out, and the glass tinkling and my hands were covered with blood. I passed out. 36 stitches on my head and there is a scar on my forehead. I can't think of the sound of the impact of metal on metal because I shudder. EDIT - how could I forget THIS one? in 1992 I was pregnant and in the 7th week suffered an ectopic pregnancy- you can actually die from one of those. My fallopian tube burst and then I had to have a hysterectomy. I'm still here, though.

I had a really bad car accident when I was pregnant with my daughter 11 years ago. It was more of a close call with her life, my stomach hit the steering wheel real hard, tore the placenta, she was born small because of it but thank god everything turned out alright. They monitored the rest of my pregnancy very closely after that, I had to see a specialist every 2 weeks, can't even tell ya how many ultrasounds I had with that one. She was born about 3 pounds smaller than my son, they said that tear in the placenta is why, she wasn't able to get all of the nourishment she needed. But we are all good now! =)

I was a passenger in a single-engined plane that blew a tyre when it landed. Wondered why the pilot and other passenger had looks of horror on their faces as the aircraft wandered from one side of the airstrip to the other before coming to a gentle rest in the grass. Ignorance is bliss; it was only my second flight so I didn't really know what was happening.

Yes, I had a shotgun pointed at me.....a friend distracted him and he shot that way instead......got him in the stomach, thank god he lived through it!!!! Crazy story, but true. I knew the so-called gun man.........it was a case of jealousy.....he and his wife , who had 2 little boys had just broken up 3 weeks before......she was acting like a hoe in the bar.....he lost it!!!! Just snapped....it can happen so fast and easily, you don't even realize what the heck is going on!!!
Sorry I spelt Hoe wrong.......not like I have to ever spell that word!

Yes, driving across an icy bridge ... a truck coming the other way lost control, came across the median, and missed me by about a foot ... hit the car behind me head-on.

yes. i had really bad leg pain one summer and it just got worse as the summer went on and turns out i have CML and the reason for the pain was because my platelets and white blood cells were off the charts and they didn't have room to move in the bone and that caused the pain. if it would have went undiagnosed for another month i would have been dead.

seems I might have a fetish for danger, don't plan it just happens, don't have anything to prove least of all to my-self, as I been there & have the tea shirts, must be the adrenaline buzz that motivates.so many close calls.

Yes. I had a brain aneurysm and almost died twice in the process. Actually I did once. But I am alive and well now.
