As long as the flamingos don't seem to be shedding or in any distress, it should be fine. Eventually the gnomes will leave them alone.

If they suddenly get quiet when you walk by, you should worry--gnomes are notorious little planners.... the flamingos are usually ok alone, but if they are provoked....

are you paying enough attention to them? I mean those gnomes can be wonderful and handy around the house, unless they feel neglected in which case things could get ugly.
