I already tried changing the batteries and it wasn't that. Someone used the computer before me and the right click was working fine.

I am assuming this is a wireless mouse.

Check the wireless tranceiver connected to the computer - make sure it is connected and the computer sees it.

Now restart the computer.

If there are other electrical appliances near the tranceiver including the monitor, lamps, heaters, cords, etc, move the tranceiver as far away from them as possible.

If you have other wireless appliances in use near the transceiver, they may be interfering with the signal.

The mouse and/or the transceiver may have coincidently failed.

Good Luck
