You are being such a whiner. We voted for the folks who are now running the country. If you don't like them, don't vote for them next time.

No, your mind is not playing tricks on you. You are just letting a bunch of bush bashing liberal academics tell you what to think. I suspect you are very young. Otherwise you would have a broader perspective.

You think there weren't as many messed up things going on in the past? Ha! Bush will be gone in a few years, as will many of the congressmen and senators currently in office. When that happens, I guess you will just have a whole new group to whine about.

Man, I hate when I hear this. A little information to some people is way too much. Unless you are a financial wiz, don't sweat everything you hear. I am sure the value of our dollar being weak is more about the government controlling inflation and recessions than anything else. Heck during the great depression, the government purposely started printing real moneyto flood the economy. Now sure it devalued the dollar, but that action helped turn around the economy. There is a time difference between the start point of flooding the economy with real printed money and the time it takes to create an effect on the economy. It takes time for say product prices to be raised once the value of the dollar goes down. Now in that time, the extra $$ in your pockets helps fight off recession. If the government can then take out that extra money before it's major effects take place they can raise the value of the dollar back up. They can basically artificially manage the economy this way. The extra money is then distroyed. I am sure it is more difficult now a days, but the techiques still exist. Just remember this. Bread is still cheap, our gas is still much cheaper than in Europe and other countries. When those basic things start getting up to $10 then we should worry. Otherwise don't sweat the details. I remember this economy going into the toilet after Clinton and somehow we marched through it.

Remember, Congress and the Senate have more power than Bush. They can even over ride his Veto's. If one wants tax breaks then search for Candidates that are for the Fair Tax. There are three who support Fair Tax that will be running in 08. Why is it that some complain about the Rich getting tax breaks? I worked for some very famous people. And trust me, they do not get tax breaks. So vote this time for the right one.

It's a good question... and the problem is, none of us have an answer. Just why are we letting Bush get away with all he has. Unfortunately, a lot of people elected him.. not once but twice.. so i guess we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Worst thing we ever did to ourselves and out country. Will take generations to recover. And Iraq.. well Iraq is a waste of time!

Please define rich, and middle class income. What special tax breaks do the rich get? I hear this all the time but no one ever gives an example.
