I have this friend that I admire a lot, but I’m afraid that I’m losing his friendship. It’s been precisely 4 months and 3 days since the last time he talked to me. I keep emailing him to keep our friendship alive, but he never replied! Has our friendship reached an end?

Yes, this friendship is over. Let it go. Some friendships aren't going to last, and even though it can be painful, you have to be thankful for the time you had as friends and realize that sometimes people change and move on, and it's not personal. You will have many friendships over your lifetime, and some will go the distance and some won't. It's life, and it makes you appreciate the ones who stick by you through thick and thin even more.

Sounds like it has. For one to work you have to both work on it. Its almost like a marriage because for a friendship to gain depth you have to be willing to work together on any problems that come up and trust one another that youre not gonna just bail whenever a problem arises. If youre lucky you will have 1 or 2 real friends in your lifetime.

It could be! It could be a good thing too!! If he has not replied, that means he was not your friend to begin with. True friends, don't do that!

communication break-down, well i wouldnt say so that your friendship has come to an end but maybe he hasnt been checking his mails or like that.........try calling him.
