my 2 goldfish died3 hours after putting them in the tank

Very simple, your tank was not cycled and you most likely just dumped them into the water instead of acclimating them properly
the cycling process takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks

76 is a little warm for goldfish. Do you know what the pH of your water?
Probably your fish were ill at the store and you just had the bad luck of buying them.

Did you leave the fish in the plastic bag and allow them to adjust to the current tank temp before releasing them into the water?

More information is needed. I am guessing you bought a fish and thought everything was perfect but the fish died. What species of fish did you have? What type of treatment did you do to the water?
